Our commitment to a health and safety can not be explained any better than our occupational safety and health policy of a workplace zero rate accidents. The Company deals in the processes, which require a high degree of safety consciousness. High compression, cylinders, high pressure, flammable and or explosive are the household terms in our workplace. We understand that an accident could harm products, equipment, people and could even spread out into a large area. Hence we attach the greatest importance and conducts in theory and practice in employee training sessions managed by the internal Health and Safety Committee. They also enforce the usage of appropriate protective gear in working environments.

We maintain our level of safety by actively seeking out risk factors and continuously improving performance in every key safety metric. TOL Gases Ltd. operates under full compliance of the Occupational Safety and Health Authority Tanzania (OSHA).



Quality First, Always Assured

We are committed in production and supply of quality and safe gaseous Carbon Dioxide, Oxygen, Nitrogen, and related products to the consumers. Effective measures are always taken to maintain the highest standard of food hygiene practices in production, packaging and distribution. We do all our best to eliminate hazards associated with our products and processes through Hazard analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP). We provide time to time training to our staff to equip them with the dynamics of the quality systems so as to raise much awareness and make them competent all the time. Samples are sent in to laundry laboratory for quality check. Also has state of the art/Gases analyzer which are carbo scan and teledyne analyzers for product quality.

Minimizing environmental impacts

Comply with the applicable environmental legislation, regulations and other requirement to which relates to its environmental aspects. Stick in prevention of pollution by waste minimization in production, disposal and conservation. Provide education and training to workers and all stakeholders in order to raise their awareness which will lead to carry out tasks in a well responsible environmental friendly manner and stimulate their thinking on environment. Communicate our environmental commitment and efforts to our customers, staff, and our community. Continually improve over time by striving to measure our environmental impacts and by setting goals to reduce these impacts each year. .

Local & International Standards

TOL Gases Ltd complies with local regulatory authorities requirements such as Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) and Tanzania Food and Drugs Authority (TFDA).

   

TOL Gases Ltd also complies with the International standards (ISO) with ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System (FSMS).

   

TOL Gases Ltd also conforms to the guidelines of the International Society of Beverages and Technologists (ISBT).
